Science has lied to us. Have you heard that before, or rather, have you heard that recently?

Well, it’s true. Science doesn’t always get it right. Without going into the motivations or agendas relating to the 180-degree about turn on the notion that “butter was bad for you”, now “it’s good for you”, the world has come clean and has redressed its erroneous claims, with some debate and objection, of course.

NATURAL saturated fatty acids (SFA’s) are the way to go!  I repeat, natural, simple, unprocessed food, that actually tastes better; food that we humans have been eating for thousands of years, containing KEY components of cell membranes, essential for the production of source hormones and which support the absorption of vitamins and minerals. That’s BUTTER.

Evidence shows (they claim that HIDDEN CLINICAL DATA was re- evaluated) that butter is better than inexpensive butter substitutes, despite decades of advice to the contrary.

Research on the value and quantity of saturated fats continues, but one fact that is not disputed is:

The Mediterranean diet has been hailed as the healthiest diet, proven by the high incidence of longevity of life (Refer ‘The Blue Zones’ – a book on 5 areas in the world that have the greatest number of centenarians – people who live beyond 100, Italy in particular).

So, what is the Mediterranean Diet?

The diet consists of NATURAL FOODS emanating from the region surrounding the Mediterranean Sea – Italy, Greece, Spain and Israel.

Seasonal foods, namely fruits, vegetables, fish, beans, nuts, olive oils, dairy products, with a glass or two of red wine at meal times, enjoyed with family and, where possible, friends, at meal-times.

Salute!!! (Cheers)
