About us

Bandini est 1957

Who we are and where we come from

The Bandini business legacy dates back to 1957, when a small cottage industry run by Omero and Elena Bandini produced quality Italian cheeses in South Africa and was one of the first contributors to South Africa’s most loved food – Italian food.

Sons, Rob and Morris Bandini have been, since the early 80s, building this privately-owned business. Both engineers, they form the fulcrum of a highly skilled group of people who have journeyed with them and built up the business to a successful, quality-driven enterprise.

Today the business comprises the following:
Bandini Cheese plant producing mozzarella, milk, butter and cream

from its humble cottage industry origins in 1957 is today, an established network, pumping millions of litres of milk through its veins, producing MOZZARELLA, MILK, BUTTER and CREAM, as their main lines.
