Bacon

A variety of pork based bacon cuts are available. These include:

Back: Good quality smoked bacon cut from the loin and served at breakfast and in many other meal applications.
 
Shoulder: Slightly darker in colour, this cut has less flavour when compared to back bacon. It usually has less fat and is used mostly as a pizza topping.

Streaky: Good flavoured, quite fatty bacon, rolled from the belly. Used for a variety of cooking purposes.

Off-cuts: Cubes of bacon, chopped for convenience and used in several cooked dishes and also as pizza toppings.

Salami

Imported salami is best suited to antipasto dishes. Local salami is a milder cured product used for commercial purposes.
